Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Astrokun (the “Service”), operated by Astrokun (“Astrokun”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Astrokun, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Astrokun is a platform where you can chat with astrologers who provide personalised readings, predictions, guidance, and remedies based on Vedic and traditional Indian astrology. Guidance is informed by details you choose to share with us, such as your date of birth, birth time, and birth place. Astrokun is intended to offer encouragement, reflection, and traditional remedy suggestions (such as mantras, fasting, or temple visits) — it is not a substitute for professional advice in any field.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using Astrokun, you represent that you meet this requirement. We may ask you to verify your age or other account details at any time.

4. Account Registration & Security

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account with accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@astrokun.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

5. User Responsibilities & Conduct

When using Astrokun, you agree not to:

• impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity;
• abuse, harass, or threaten any astrologer or other user;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems; or
• share your account access with others.

6. Subscription, Payments & UPI Autopay Mandates

Astrokun offers one optional paid plan, Astrokun Premium, currently priced at ₹49/week, which unlocks additional access within the Service. Current pricing is also shown on our Pricing page and presented again within the app before you subscribe. Payments and recurring billing are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay. Depending on the payment method you choose, subscribing may set up a UPI Autopay mandate (or an equivalent card or other payment-method authorisation) that authorises Astrokun, via Razorpay, to charge the applicable amount automatically on the agreed recurring schedule until the subscription is cancelled. Where a UPI Autopay mandate is used, an advance notification is sent before each renewal charge, consistent with NPCI’s e-mandate framework.

You may cancel at any time in either of two independent ways: (a) using the “Cancel subscription” option in your account, or by emailing support@astrokun.in, which stops future renewal charges at the end of your current paid period; or (b) independently, by managing or cancelling the underlying UPI Autopay mandate directly from your own UPI app at any time, which is always your right regardless of what Astrokun’s own app supports. Pricing, billing frequency, and these terms may change from time to time; we will communicate any material change in advance.

7. Content, Guidance & Outcome Disclaimers

Readings, predictions, guidance, and remedies offered through Astrokun are for informational, spiritual, and personal-growth purposes. They are offered as encouragement and traditional insight, not as guarantees of any specific outcome — no astrologer can promise that a particular result (in relationships, career, health, finances, or otherwise) will occur. Astrokun does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice; for serious matters in these areas, please also consult a qualified professional. Any remedies suggested (such as temple visits, fasting, mantras, or donations) are entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion, effort, and expense. If you are experiencing a crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to someone you trust or to local emergency or crisis support services — Astrokun is not equipped to provide crisis intervention.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, astrologer personas as presented within the app, and all associated content, is owned by Astrokun or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, scrape, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. User Content

Any information or messages you submit through the Service (“User Content”) remain yours. By submitting User Content, you grant Astrokun a licence to use it as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You agree not to submit anyone else’s personal information without their consent.

10. Third-Party Services

Astrokun relies on trusted third-party partners to help operate the Service, including Razorpay for payment processing and other hosting/infrastructure providers. Your use of any third-party service linked from Astrokun is subject to that provider’s own terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrokun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Astrokun, if any, in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Astrokun and its personnel from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request closure of your account at any time by contacting support@astrokun.in. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive conduct, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice.

15. Governing Law & Grievance Redressal

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. In accordance with applicable Indian regulations, grievances may be addressed to our Grievance Officer, Astrokun, reachable at support@astrokun.in. See also our Contact Us page.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app, our website, or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
